myLockup

Windows + Android

Your passwords. Your file. Your lockup.

myLockup keeps credentials, websites, and private notes together in one encrypted vault file. There is no account to create and no service holding the keys—the file goes where you choose.

A vault without a landlord

Your private records stay in a file you own.

myLockup is deliberately file-based. Your titles, names, passwords, websites, notes, Trash, and record history are encrypted together—ready to keep locally, back up, or move between your devices.

01 / PROTECT

Strong encryption, fresh every time it saves.

Vaults use AES-256-GCM with a PBKDF2-SHA256 password-derived key. Each save gets a new random salt and nonce, while your vault password is never stored in the file.

02 / FIND

Get to the right record quickly.

Search across title, name, website or app, and comments. Reveal or copy a password only when you need it.

03 / RECOVER

Trash is a safety net.

Deleted records remain encrypted and restorable until you choose to empty Trash permanently.

04 / STEP AWAY

The open vault knows when to close.

After inactivity, myLockup gives a visible warning and closes the vault. On Android, turning off the screen clears the file password and decrypted entries from memory, requiring the vault password again.

One vault, both devices

Portable by design.

The Windows and Android apps read and write the same encrypted format. The vault moves; the password does not travel inside it.

Step one

Create a `.kpd` vault

Choose its name and location, then protect it with a password only you know.

Step two

Add the details you need

Keep credentials with the website, app, notes, and change history that give them context.

Step three

Open it where you are

Use the same vault on Windows or select it through Android’s document picker.

Keep the vault password safe. myLockup cannot recover a forgotten vault password. Keep a separate backup of your `.kpd` file as well.

Put your vault within reach.

Install the app on Windows, Android, or both. The portable file format keeps the vault—not a vendor account—at the center.
